Detailed analysis of the poem

In this poem , the poet tries to explain how a beautiful thing is a joy for ever .He says that the loveliness of beautiful  thing never fades. We find in it new beauties as we watch it day after day. It never passes into nothingness. It gives joy to the beholder for ever . A beautiful thing is a kind of quiet bower that sends us to a sleep full of sweet dreams. It gives us health of the body and peace of the mind.

     The poet  belives that man’s life on this earth is nothing but a tale of grief and sorrow. There is sadness and gloom in every heart . There is a terrible lack of tuely noble hearts. Many mysterios things happen that man fails to understand in spite of all efforts. None cloud bear to live on such an earth. The poet says that it is beauty alone that takes  away the gloom from the human heart. It is a kind of flowery band that binds us to the earth .

     The poet  lists some such beautiful things.He  says that we have the sun and moon . There are big and small trees that gives cool shade for simple sheep. There are lovely daffodils and cool clear streams. There are musk roses that bloom in forest . Then there  is also beauty of thoughts we have for the mighty dead . We  imagine that they will be  suitably rewarded by god on the day of judement. Then there are lovely tales of olden days that we have heard or read.

      The poet calls  all these beauties an endless fountain of immortal drink that heaven itself is pouring down for us .In other words , god himself has created these beautiful  things for us so that we can derive joy from them during our stay on this earth .

इस  कविता  में  कवी इस बात कि ब्याख्या करने का यत्न  करता है  कि एक सूंदर चीज किस तरह सदा के लिए खुशी का श्रोत होती है ! वह कहता है  कि एक सूंदर चीज कि सुंदरता कभी धुंधली नहीं पड़ती है ! हमें इसमें  नई नई सुंदरताएँ दिखाई देती है , जब हम इसे प्रति दिन देखते है  ! यह कभी भी अपने अस्तितत्व  को  खोती नहीं है ! यह देखने वालो को सदा सदा के लिए प्रसन्नता प्रदान करती है ! एक सूंदर चीज ऐसे सांत कुंज की तरह होती है ! जो हमें सपनो से

भरी  हुई  निद्रा में भेज देती है ! यह हमें शरीर  का  स्वास्थय  और मन कि शांति प्रदान करती है

      कवी का विश्वाश  है कि  इस धरती पर मनुष्य का जीवन दुःख और उदाशी कि कहनी के अतिरिक्त कुछ नहीं है ! प्रत्येक दिल में निराशा और उदाशी भरी हुई है !वास्तविक रूप से श्रेठ दिल वाले लोगो कि अत्यधिक कमी है ! अनेको रहस्यमय   बाते हो जाती है  जिन्हे मनुष्य अपना पूरा यत्न लगाने के वावजूद भी समझ नहीं पता ! इस तरह की धरती कोई भी ब्यक्ति रहना सहन नहीं कर सकता था ! कवि कहता है कि यह केवल सुंदरता है  जो मनुष्य के दिल से अँधेरे को  समाप्त कर  सकती है ! यह एक प्रकार का फूलो का पट्टा है  , जो हमें धरती से बांधे रखता है !

     कवि इस तरह की सूंदर चीजों की सूचि बनाता है ! वह  कहता है की हमारे पास  चाँद  और सूर्य है ! वहा बड़े और छोटे पेड़ है , जो भोली भाली भेड़ो को छाया प्रदान करते है ! वहां सूंदर  नरगिसी फूल है  और ठंडी उज्जवल नदिया है ! वहां  सफेद गुलाब है  जो जंगलो में खिलते है  !इसके अतिरिक्त वहां  उन विचारो की सुंदरता भी है जो हम गुजरे हुए शक्तिशाली व्यक्तियों के बारे में रखते है ! हम कल्पना करते है की ईश्वर  निर्णय के दिन उन्हें उपयुक्त रूप से पुरस्कृत करेगा ! इसके अतिरिक्त वहां पुराने दिनों की सूंदर  सूंदर  कहानिया है  जो हमने पढ़ी या सुनी होती है !

     कवि इन सभी सूंदर चीजों को अलौकिक पेय झरना कहता है  जो स्वयं हमारे लिए यादगार रहा है  अन्य शब्दों में  , ईश्वर  ने इन  सूंदर चीजों की रचना स्वयं हमारे लिए  की  है  ताकि इस धरती पर अपने जीवन के दौरान उनसे प्रसन्नता प्राप्त कर सके !
