BERIF INTODUCTION TO THE STORY ( FULL DETAILED SUMMARY OF  THE  TIGER  KING)  

It is a story of a king who came to be known as the tiger king. He was told by the astrologers that his death would come from a tiger. The king was not at all afraid to hear this. He had numberless forests In his state with many tiger in them. One day, he went on a tiger hunt .He was thrilled beyond measure when he killed his first tiger. He sent for the astrologers and Said, “What do you say now?” The astrologers said hesitatingly, “Your majesty may kill ninety – nine tigers in the same manner, but you must be very careful with the hundredth. “ Now the king vowed that he would attend to all others matters only after killing   a hundred tigers the killing of each   tiger     gave him great joy. After he had killed seventy   tigers, on tigers were left    in his own forest. Now he married a girl from a royal family he started hunting the tiger in the forest of his Father-in-law. 

But at last it seemed impossible to find the hundredth tiger. The king was very angry. The dewan had to arrange for a tiger from some people’s park it was an old and sickly tiger. There was great celebration when this tiger was killed a few days later, the king    decided to celebrate his son’s thrice birthday. He got for him wooden tiger as a present both the father and the son played all day with that little toy. All over it, there were tiny silvers of wood. One of this pierced the maharaja’s right hand. He pulled it out and continued to play with the prince. Next day infection developed in the king’s right hand. In four days, it spread all over the arm. Three famous surgeons decided to operate on the king. When they came after the operation, they said, “the operation was successful the maharaja is death.” Thus the hundred tiger took its final revenge upon the tiger king.

कहानी का संक्षिप्त परिचय

यह एक ऐसे राजा की कहानी है जो  टाइगर किंग  के नाम से जाना जाने लगा था ! उसे 

ज्योतिषियों ने बता दिया की उसकी मृत्यु  एक बाघ से होगी ! यह सुनकर  राजा तनिक भी न 

डरा ! उसके राज्य में अनगिनत   जांगल   थे ! और उनमे   अनेको बाघ  थे  ! एक दिन वह 

जांगले में शिकार करने के लिए गया !  उसे असीमित  रोमांच अनुभव हुआ   जब उसने पहला 

बाघ मारा  ! उसने   राज्य के ज्योतिषी   को बुलवा  भेजा  और उससे कहा , "अब  तुम क्या 

कहना  चाहोगे  ? " ज्योतिषी ने झिझकते   हुए  उत्तर  दिया , " महाराज   इसी तरह से 

निन्यानवे   बाघ मार ले   किन्तु   सौवे   के   सम्बन्ध में  आपको बहुत  सावधान रहना होगा ! " 

अब राजा ने प्राण   ले लिया   की  वह  सौ  बाघों  को मारने   के   बाद ही   दूसरे   विषयो   पर  

ध्यान  देगा ! प्रत्येक   बाघ को मारने से उसे  बहुत प्रसन्नता    होती थी  !  सत्तर   बाघ  मारने 

के  बाडी उसके  जांगल   में कोई बाघ नहीं रह गए थे !  अब उसने एक राजसी   परिवार की 

लड़की  से विवाह   कर लिया !  उसने अपने  ससुर  के जंगलो  में बाघों का शिकार  करना 

शुरू   कर दिया ! किन्तु अंत   में सौवा     बाघ  पा  लेना  असंभव   प्रतीत होने लगा  ! राजा 

बहुत क्रोधित  था  ! दीवान को किसी     पीपल्ज़   पार्क में  से एक बाघ का प्रबंध करना  पड़ा   

यह   बुढ़ा   और बीमार  सा  बाघ था ! जब  यह बाघ  मारा  गया तोह वही भारी उत्सव  हुआ ! 

कुछ दिन बाद राजा ने अपने  बेटे का   तीसरा   जन्मदिन   मानाने   का निश्चय  किया  ! उसने 

उपहार क लिए एक लकड़ी   का बना   बाघ  ले  लिया  !  पिता   और पुत्र   दोनो  पूरा दिन 

उस  छोटे  से   खिलौने   के साथ  खेलते रहे  !  उसकी   पूरी सतह  पर लकड़ी के छोटी - 

छोटी  छिपटे  थी  !  इस  में  से एक राजा   के  दाए   हाथ    में  चुभ   गई  ! उनसे उसे 

खींचकर बाहर निकाल  दिया  और  राजकुमार  के साथ खेलता  रहा  ! राजा  के  दाए  हाथ  में 

संक्रमण    शरू हो गया !  चार  दिनों  में यह पूरी  बाँह   में फैल  गया  ! थीं प्रसिद्ध  सर्जनों  

राजा का  ऑप्रेशन   करने  का निर्णय  लिया  ! ओप्रशन के  बाद  जब वे  दिनों  बहार  आए  

तो उन्होंने  कहा  ," ओप्रशन     सफल   रहा  ! महाराज की  मृत्यु  हो गई  है ! ,” इस प्रकार 

सौवे    बाघ ने   टाइगर किंग से आखिर अपना बदला ले ही  लिया !
